Sallu’s search for the female lead for his next with Sooraj Barjatya has finally come to an end
Salman Khan has finally found his girl, for his film peeps! We hear that Nargis Fakhri auditioned to play the female lead opposite Sallu in his next with Sooraj Barjatya. A second round was also conducted and Nargis is very close to bagging the role!
Earlier, the filmmakers were planning to rope in Diana Penty opposite Salman. However, with Nargis’ good performance in Madras Café, they were impressed with her and narrated the script to her. Post narration, she auditioned for the role. The film will go on floors in the second half of next year. The official announcement will be made soon.
Nargis really hopes to bag the film. Who wouldn’t like to work with Salman Khan in a big project like this! The Dabangg dude will be seen essaying his popular Prem character in the film. Details about Nargis’ role (if she bags it) aren’t divulged yet.
While we understand that the filmmakers were impressed with the Rockstar babe’s performance in Madras Café, we hope that they don’t neglect the fact that she’s spoken only in English throughout the film. So, we hope they write a firang character for this firangi babe!
