I had to change my Mindset to get into the character ! The Shuddh Desi Romance
Director Maneesh Sharma’s light-hearted take on live-in relationships and the new age romance Shuddh Desi Romance (SDR)-starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor-is building enough buzz. Recently, the romantic trio of SDR were on trade expert Komal Nahta’s popular chat show ETC Bollywood Business to talk about their movie. Sushant who is a bit shy and reserved opened up about his experience of shooting for the movie which is not your regular over the top romantic tale. “We have to work hard and understand the character to be natural actors”said Sushant.
Clearly live in relationships is the USP of the film and its aim is to change people’s opinion on these kinds of relationships. In fact, it is a movie that will help in removing social taboos like live in relationships. All the three actors Sushant, Vaani and Parineeti will be seen playing the characters that are diametrically opposite to their real life personalities. We have seen Parineeti playing her usual bindass self in films such as Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl and Ishaqzaadeso far, but in this production she will be playing a character that is very hatke from her popular off-screen personality “I had to change my mindset in order to get into the character,” said Parineeti
