So it’s official. Deepika Singh, who portrays the character of Sandhya in Diya Aur Baati Hum is married to the director of the show, Rohit Raj Goyal. The duo, who met and fell in love on the sets of the show tied the knot in a traditional weddingceremony on Friday (May 2).
Wearing a beautiful red lehenga, Deepika took the saat pheras with Rohit, who was dressed in a white sherwani, as the couple’s family and close friends from the industry watched by.
Anas Rashid, who plays Deepika’s on-screen husband might have given a miss to the sangeet ceremony, however, he made sure to be there at the shaadi looking his usual charming self. On the other hand, Kanika Maheshwari and Ratan Rajput had quite a fun time as they did some bhangda with the baraatis. Neelu Vaghela, who plays Bhabho in Diya Aur Baati Hum and Arun Lokhande were also present throughout the ceremony.
