The thing that I absolutely love about people on Twitter is that they tend to notice EVERY. TINY. DETAIL. Which is why people should be extra careful about what they post online. One thing here and there and you never know, you might just become a meme.
So recently, IAS officer Raj Shekhar, who is currently serving as the Commissioner of Kanpur, took to Twitter to post a picture of himself cooking poha for breakfast, or so it seems. He is seen wearing a suit while he tries his hands on cooking and asks people to wish him luck. Have a look:
Please wish me Good Luck.

But what immediately grabbed the attention of people online was that the stove was…off.
Also thank you for sending a strong message to the government for making cooking gas so unaffordable that cooking can be done without it, the heat instead of the stove comes from collective anger.

And they collectively said, gas toh on kar lijiye!
Who cooks in suit ???
BTW gas needs to be lit…— Ajoy Chakraborty (@AjoyC5) December 19, 2021
You may want to light the stove.

2 things;
1- Make sure the gas is on while taking a pic for publicity purposes.
2- Look into the kadai rather than at the cameraOther than that this is mint

Lagta hai gas khatam ho gya hai

Why these days almost everyone is obsessed with camera? How can you cook without fire?

The stove is off. Airpods are on. A typical Indian bureaucrat.

Many also questioned his choice of clothing while cooking.
First u have to light up the gas burner,
We usually don’t were tuxedo while cooking— Ritul Raj (@RitulRaj8) December 19, 2021
Ok Sir.
All best Sir!

Only an IAS officer has the ability to cook food without lighting the stove. Also, who cooks food wearing a suit? https://t.co/XoaMDhfqO6

who the fuck wears a suit to make poha with the stove off, this is so embarrassing for you https://t.co/VRvCSuBGj0

If this would have been me and my mom who saw such a picture, I’m sure I would have had a flying chappal come my way!
